Privacy Policy

Summary: Subscribe keeps the subscription, memo, and vault information you create on your device. We do not require an account, sell your data, or use advertising, tracking, or analytics SDKs.

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how GoFoo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Subscribe Android application (the “App”), package name com.gofoo.subscribe.

2. Information Handled by the App

The App processes information you choose to enter, including subscription names, prices, billing dates and cycles, categories, payment-method labels, notes, links, reminders, memo content, and vault entries. It also stores App preferences, trial status, and purchase entitlement locally on your device.

We do not collect:

  • Your name, phone number, or precise location
  • Your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera data
  • Advertising identifiers or usage analytics
  • The subscription, memo, or vault content stored in the App

If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and message content you voluntarily provide.

3. How Information Is Used

Your information is used only to provide:

  • Subscription tracking, calculations, and insights
  • Reminders and notifications you choose to enable
  • Memo and protected vault features
  • Backup, import, and export functions
  • App preferences, trial status, and Pro entitlement

We do not use this information for advertising or profiling.

4. Local Storage, Backup, and Security

App content is stored locally in a Room (SQLite) database, and preferences are stored in local App storage. Vault access may use your device’s biometric or screen-lock authentication. The App does not receive or store biometric templates.

When you export a backup or memo file, you choose where it is saved or shared and are responsible for protecting that file. If Android system backup is enabled, App data may be included in a backup managed by Google or your device manufacturer under their respective privacy policies.

5. Google Play Purchases

One-time Pro purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive the purchase status needed to unlock features, but we do not receive or store your payment-card details. Google’s processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

6. App Permissions

  • Notifications — to show reminders you enable.
  • Exact alarms and boot completed — to schedule and restore reminders.
  • Storage access on supported Android versions — to import or export files you request.
  • Biometric or device credential — only when you use protected vault access.
  • Billing — for Google Play purchases.

7. Sharing and Retention

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Your App content remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App, subject to Android backup settings and any files you exported. Google Play retains purchase records under its own policies.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You can view, edit, export, and delete App content directly in the App. Depending on your location, you may also have legal privacy rights. Because we do not operate an account or content server, we generally cannot access or delete information stored only on your device.

9. Children’s Privacy

Subscribe is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
